How I started Playpops

I knew I wanted to start my own business and I wanted to make a product good for kids. Every time we walked past the popsicle guys on bikes with coolers we never bought any popsicles. They had too much sugar and were overpriced. A lot! So we founded Playpops so that we could make a business selling low-sugar popsicles for $2.00 to $3.00 each. We went to a store and bought popsicle molds and popsicle sticks. I borrowed money from Dad but paid it back by selling popsicles. I paid back $18.00 by the end of the day. Before that we figured out how to make a homemade kind of puree that, when poured into molds and frozen, can be made into homemade popsicles.
